I kept noticing how little I saw beyond the same chain stops along the road, so I built an iOS app for finding better places and attractions off the main routes in Finland.

I kept noticing how little I saw beyond the same chain stops along the road, so I built an iOS app for finding better places and attractions off the main routes in Finland.
view project →I wanted one screen for everything instead of reaching for my phone, so I built kitchen helper firmware for the Elecrow CrowPanel Advanced 9-inch: weather and electricity prices on the main screen and screensaver, plus alarms, recipes, ingredient scaling, bus and train schedules, assorted kitchen tools, and news to check while waiting. In practice I mostly end up checking the weather and the electricity price.
view project →Built mainly for tournament mode: my phone's battery never lasted a full game day, so it runs just as well from a laptop, and in an 8-player bracket it pairs opponents automatically instead of drawing names by hand. Also tracks life totals, commander damage, poison and timers.
view project →Built to stop guessing when to water or feed what: tell it what's planted and it works out the schedule automatically. Draws your garden to scale from a plant database with explained quantities, plus a care guide and PDF reports. Works offline, in English and Finnish.
view project →Built to actually know whether a week's meals add up — fibre, protein, kcal — instead of guessing. Imports recipes from K-Ruoka, S-kaupat and Valio pages, estimates nutrition from Fineli open data, and builds a shopping list to match. Works offline.
view project →I wanted to play my Bandcamp collection from a terminal instead of a browser tab, so I built a curses music player that talks to Bandcamp's own streaming API and drives mpv underneath.
view project →DevSecOps specialist, coming from a software development and test automation background. What keeps me interested is the spot where testing and security meet: automating the checks, then thinking like an attacker to find what they miss. On the side I build iOS apps, ESP32 gadgets and other applications to help my daily life.
